My Education
As I found my way to Plymouth State University for my undergraduate education, I wanted to take control of my own academic process. Through Plymouth’s renowned Interdisciplinary Studies program, I built my own major, entitled Human-Centered Technology Design & Development, consisting of the following three criteria:

- Solidifying my background in software development
- Strengthening my skills of communication and branded marketing
- Studying the practical applications of technology in real world scenarios

As an Interdisciplinary Studies student, I have all of the same rules and criteria as a normal undergraduate studying any major, but with more control over the courses I take. Under the watchful eyes of multiple advisors in specific disciplines, I’ve developed a program that has been proposed and accepted by the Interdisciplinary Committee.

By constructing my own major, I can ensure that every class is relevant to my field of study in one way or another - even General Education courses. I’ve developed a track where I can take all of the Upper Level Computer Science Curriculum, infused with a strategic selection of Communication and Business courses, along with several courses across campus focusing on the integration technological integration within specific disciplines.
